Five Stages About Gifted Student Program

1)      Orientation Program:

Students who are new to the center and their parents are taken to an orientation program that does not exceed 40 lesson hours and a period of two months. The integration program is the stage where everyone, parents, teachers, and students, try to understand each other and create a common language.

2)      Support Education Program:

In the support training program, students will learn communication skills, group working techniques, learning skills, problem-solving techniques, scientific research techniques, entrepreneurship, critical thinking, creative thinking, decision making, effective use of resources; They are educated in relation to Science, Mathematics, Turkish, Social Sciences, Foreign Language, Information Technologies, Technology and Design, Visual Arts, Music and similar fields.

3)      Talent Identification Program:

The main purpose of this program is to introduce all disciplines in which the student who comes to the center with an artistic and general mental ability diagnosis is likely to be talented. During this program, activities are planned and implemented to observe the student's characteristics such as interest in the discipline, learning speed, curiosity, in-depth knowledge, and attempts to find solutions by bringing problems in vital processes to the field. The findings obtained from the students at the end of the implemented program are evaluated by the Teachers' Board and each student's special talent area and/or areas are determined.

4)      Talent Enhancement Program:

In this program, the specific area in which the talent of the student who comes to the center with an artistic and general mental ability turns into performance is now determined. It is aimed to provide in-depth or advanced knowledge, skills, and behavior in a maximum of 2 science or art fields in which the student was determined to be talented as a result of previous programs.

 

5)      Project Development Program:

In this program, students are divided into project groups according to their interests, abilities and preferences, and they work on the project of their own selection to prepare projects that aim to realize interdisciplinary work and synthesis of different skills. The basis is that students work on projects of their own selection under the guidance of advisor teachers, apply the solutions they develop, and learn in the process.
